![]() I was finally able to pick up the pictures five days after the store had gotten them in. I won’t bore you with the picking up of the pictures fiasco which involved several unanswered calls to the studio, dragging two bawling kids into the mall when I am all sweaty from a workout, rude employees and getting there a seperate time five minutes after they closed (who closes at 7pm? NO, I’m not bitter!) Instead I will move on to The Pickup. We ordered and waited the ten days to pick up our portraits. Apparently it isn’t very easy to see what the picture will look like because “these monitors suck”. We told the photographer that the proofs she showed us on the computer were a little blurry but she said it was just their monitors. ![]() The pictures of them together were less than spectacular, but they weren’t screaming and the constipated look on Mason’s face COULD be mistaken for a smile I guess, so we ordered two sheets. We get some really great shots of the boys individually. Actually, you DON’T get what you pay for…keep reading.) $3.99 a sheet, what’s not to love, right? (Little did we know that you get what you pay for. So off we go to get pictures at JCPenney. At this point she has just stopped the requests and I take this as a sign that she has just given up on me and my lazy ways. ![]() I decided that ten months is a long time to feel that daughter-in-law guilt. A-Boy is almost three now and we have still not taken his two-year-old pictures. My mother-in-law has been asking me for pictures of the boys for oh…a year now. I told the employee that I was going to tell everyone I knew and everyone I DIDN’T know never to go there, so here I am, fulfilling my promise. ![]()
